GUEST OF HONOR: CAITLIN R. KIERNAN Caitlin R. Kiernan's fiction ranges from science fiction to dark fantasy. She has had stories selected for Year's Best Fantasy and Horror, Year's Best Science Fiction, and The Mammoth Book of Best New Horror; has been the recipient of the Maiden Voyage and International Horror Guild awards, and has been nominated for the Bram Stoker and World Fantasy awards, among others. At Neil Gaiman's invitation, she wrote the DC/Vertigo comics series The Dreaming, set in Gaiman's "Sandman" universe. Ms. Kiernan also served as lyricist and vocalist for the "goth-folk-blues" band Death's Little Sister. She lives in Rhode Island. FFI:
